Now under “new management”; LP officers Timothy Maguire, Ed Angleton, John Meuser and Jim Majdak are looking for a few good recruits for the movement. Do you fit the bill? Here are some of the appointed positions availabe to those qualified…
Finance Director:
Fundraising, fundraising, fundraising. Actively solicit donations; maintain donor relationships; collaborate with Events Director for fundraising events; seek out new sources of monetary support.Communications Director:
Direct the marketing and publicity of the organization, its meetings and its events; notify media of events, to promote media coverage through press releases and any other relevant means of correspondence.
Political Director:
Act as a liaison to campaigns and elected/appointed officials; maintain awareness of legislation in local, state and federal Government for the purpose of promoting action through lobbying and other forms of political engagement; maintain knowledge of campaign finance law.
Membership Director:
Coordinate volunteer efforts; maintain membership databases; organize and oversee all recruitment strategy and social efforts; actively seek out and invite others to join the LP.
Events Director:
Organize and oversee events; maintain an event calendar; collaborate with Finance Director for fundraising events; actively seek out opportunities to collaborate with other organizations.
Webmaster:
Maintain and update the website of www.indylp.org; seek out other opportunities to enhance our Internet presence.
Assistant Secretary (to be appointed if elected secretary requests assistance)
